Overview

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of OceanDrive's platform, APIs, AI systems, and services. It supplements our Terms of Service. By using OceanDrive, you agree to this AUP. If you violate it, we may suspend or terminate your access.

Prohibited conduct

You may not use OceanDrive to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation.
  • Infringe intellectual property rights of any person or entity.
  • Attempt to access accounts, systems, or data you don't own or aren't authorized to access.
  • Conduct credential stuffing, brute-force attacks, or unauthorized penetration testing.
  • Upload, distribute, or execute malware, ransomware, or harmful code.
  • Conduct denial-of-service attacks or intentionally degrade platform performance.
  • Interfere with system integrity or bypass rate limits.
  • Use OceanDrive for deceptive manipulation or unauthorized surveillance.
  • Harvest or scrape user data without authorization.

AI & automation misuse

You may not:

  • Reverse engineer AI models or attempt to extract training data or system prompts.
  • Scrape AI outputs at scale for competitive intelligence or model distillation.
  • Jailbreak AI systems or attempt to override safety controls.
  • Use AI outputs to generate spam, phishing content, or coordinated inauthentic behavior.
  • Abuse autonomous systems to perform actions beyond your authorized scope.
  • Use bots or automation to abuse free tiers, bypass usage limits, or circumvent billing.

Content standards

You may not create, upload, schedule, or publish content that:

  • Is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or constitutes harassment or hate speech.
  • Violates the privacy or publicity rights of others.
  • Impersonates any person or entity in a misleading way.
  • Contains malicious code, scripts, or embedded exploits.
  • Promotes, facilitates, or glorifies violence or illegal activity.
  • Involves the sexual exploitation of minors in any form.

Platform integrity

You must not:

  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any OceanDrive system without prior written authorization.
  • Exploit vulnerabilities or access data beyond your authorized scope.
  • Interfere with other users' access to the platform.
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation to OceanDrive or its team.

Security researchers who identify vulnerabilities should follow our responsible disclosure process rather than exploit them.

Enforcement

Violations of this AUP may result in:

  • Immediate account suspension or permanent ban.
  • Restriction of specific features or API access.
  • Legal action, including pursuit of damages.
  • Reporting to law enforcement or relevant regulatory authorities.

OceanDrive reserves the right to determine what constitutes a violation at its sole discretion and to take appropriate action without prior notice where required to protect platform integrity or user safety.

Reporting violations

If you believe another user is violating this policy, please report it to support@getoceandrive.com with as much detail as possible. We investigate all credible reports.
