LegalTerms of Service

Clear terms, calm boundaries.

These terms explain how OceanDrive works, what you can expect from us, and what we ask from you.

Last updated: May 15, 2026Version: v1.1
Key points
  • • You review outputs before publishing or acting.
  • • You own your content; we process it to provide the service.
  • • Don't abuse or disrupt the platform.
  • • Terms may change; we'll provide notice for material updates.

Acceptance

By using OceanDrive, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

Accounts

  • You're responsible for your account and keeping login credentials secure.
  • You must provide accurate information and keep it updated.

Billing

If you subscribe, you agree to pay fees shown at checkout. Billing cycles, renewals, and refunds (if any) follow the plan you select.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service. For example, don't:

  • Break laws or violate others' rights.
  • Attempt to access accounts or data you don't own.
  • Abuse, overload, scrape, or reverse engineer the service.
  • Use OceanDrive to distribute malware or spam.

Your content

You own the content you provide. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display it only to operate the service and provide requested outputs.

AI outputs

AI can produce errors. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before you publish or act on them. OceanDrive does not provide legal, medical, or financial advice.

Practical rule
Treat AI as a drafting assistant. You decide what's correct and what ships.

AI automation & agents

OceanDrive may provide autonomous agents, scheduling systems, and delegated execution tools. By enabling automation features, you authorize OceanDrive to perform actions according to your workflows, prompts, triggers, schedules, approvals, and configurations.

You remain responsible for supervising automation, monitoring outputs, reviewing publications, ensuring legality, and connected account activity. High-risk actions — including deleting data, publishing to social accounts, spending money, and bulk operations — require explicit human approval before execution.

OceanDrive does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, prediction accuracy, algorithmic performance, platform availability, third-party API stability, publishing success, or business outcomes from automated workflows. OceanDrive may pause automations, throttle workloads, restrict agent behavior, or suspend suspicious activity at any time. See our AI Usage Policy for full details.

YouTube API Services

OceanDrive integrates with YouTube API Services. By connecting your YouTube account, your use of Google's services is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service. OceanDrive accesses your YouTube data solely to provide the scheduling and analytics features you request.

Third-party services

OceanDrive may integrate with third-party services. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and policies.

Social platform APIs

OceanDrive integrates with YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn APIs to publish content and display analytics on your behalf. By connecting any social account, you confirm you have the rights to post that content and that your use complies with each platform's terms:

OceanDrive is not responsible for content removed or accounts suspended by third-party platforms for violations of their policies.

Termination

You can stop using OceanDrive at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if there is abuse, security risk, or violation of these Terms.

Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." We work to keep it reliable, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OceanDrive and its team are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data.

Changes

We may update these Terms. If changes are material, we'll provide reasonable notice (for example, via email or in-product notice).

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless OceanDrive and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use of the service in violation of these Terms; (b) your content or data; (c) your violation of any third-party right, including any intellectual property, privacy, or platform policy right; or (d) any claim that your content caused damage to a third party.

Dispute resolution & arbitration

Informal resolution first: Before filing any formal dispute, you agree to contact us at support@getoceandrive.com and give us 30 days to attempt informal resolution.

Binding arbitration: If informal resolution fails, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service shall be settled by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Commercial Arbitration Rules. The arbitration will take place in Delaware, USA, and judgment may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.

Class action waiver: You agree that any arbitration or proceeding shall be limited to the dispute between us individually. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you waive the right to participate in a class action, class arbitration, or representative proceeding.

Exception: Either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction for matters involving intellectual property or unauthorized access to the service.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. For users in the European Union, nothing in these Terms limits your rights under applicable consumer protection laws in your country of residence.

Force majeure

OceanDrive is not liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, accidents, pandemics, strikes, or shortages of transportation, fuel, energy, labor, or materials, or failures of third-party infrastructure including cloud providers or social platform APIs.
