This Cookie Policy explains how OceanDrive ("we," "us," "our") uses cookies and similar technologies when you use our service at getoceandrive.com and associated subdomains. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

By continuing to use OceanDrive, you consent to our use of strictly necessary cookies. For functional and analytics cookies, we obtain your consent via our cookie banner on first visit.

What are cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember information about your visit — such as your login state or preferences — so you don't have to re-enter them every time.

We also use similar technologies:

  • Local storage: Browser-side storage used for non-sensitive UI state (e.g. which sidebar panel is open). Not transmitted to servers with each request.
  • Session storage: Temporary storage cleared when you close your browser tab. Used for in-progress form state.

Third-party cookies

We use a minimal set of third-party services that may set their own cookies:

  • Vercel Analytics: Anonymous, aggregated page view tracking. No cross-site tracking. No personal data. Subject to Vercel's Privacy Policy.
  • Stripe: Payment processing. Sets cookies only on checkout pages to prevent fraud. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any advertising network cookies. We never use cookies to build advertising profiles or track you across other websites.

Your choices

You have several ways to control cookies:

  • Cookie banner: On your first visit, you can accept or decline functional and analytics cookies. You can change this at any time via the cookie preferences link in our footer.
  • Account settings: Logged-in users can manage cookie preferences under Settings → Privacy.
  • Browser settings: All major browsers let you block or delete cookies. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will break authentication and core functionality.
  • Opt-out links: For Vercel Analytics, see their opt-out documentation.
Note on strictly necessary cookies
Strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled via our preferences panel. They are essential to authenticate your session and protect the service from CSRF attacks. You can delete them via browser settings but this will log you out.

Updates to this policy

We will update this Cookie Policy when we add, change, or remove cookies. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. For material changes — such as introducing a new category of cookie — we will notify you via in-app notice or email before the change takes effect.
